The building was built in recent years and once served the community as a primary school. Unfortunately, now it is abandoned due to the lack of children in the village. This phenomenon is caused by the migration of the original inhabitants of Simeri to bigger neighboring cities where there are more job opportunities. On the other hand, this abandoned building represent also an opportunity for an innovative artistic and architectural intervention.
